This is what happens when you mix:
too much beer
far too many effects
2 distortion units
compression
These clips were recorded at 3 AM with my blue chambered ash strat and
Dimarzio Protrack pickups using Lava cables
into an Xotic AC
booster overdrive and Sans amp, with Barber Tone Press compressor into my 70's
Marshall set to clean (try that with a standard single coil)
then added more delay than any human should be allowed to use...
Dynamics... what dynamics.. I realize this is overplaying...
eerrr....did I mention the too much beer part? :-)
All of the clips use the same MIDI backing track that I recorded with the strat
internal 13 pin setup and Axon midi converter.
I can "zone out" for hours... I need more of a life...
Clip 1 was all bridge pickup Clips 2 and 3 also used the neck pickup in parallel mode
These 2 clips were recorded with my new Brian Moore I2000 1.13 into the same set up. This guitar (for now) has a Duncan JB bridge, Alnico II middle and Alnico II 'bucker neck. Check out how much more hum there is with the JB
